The register it's self is bland and hard to read, especially for my aging eyes. It is hard to find the 'home screen' and once you maneuver away from it, it closes completely and you have to find it all over again. Once I did, I was disappointed to find that it is a very bland interface that is difficult to maneuver. All in all, it took me 2 1/2 hours to get the program up and running. Heaven help the user who tries to do that. This was a fresh install, I wasn't even trying to 'upgrade' from a previous version. Then it froze multiple times trying to download banking information. Straight out of the box, even though the program was just released yesterday, I had to wait and download 'updates' for the program. Quicken for Mac 2016 is still a stripped down check register. Even after all these years, Intuit still hasn't gotten a clue that Mac users are here to stay.
